So, how, exactly, do you choose your alpha testers? And will we only get to know if we're chosen on the day that we're supposed to be alpha-testing?

Lol. I caught them setting up the tech support section :).  Though it is a valid issue, I want to play :)

Ok folks, so, we changed things up a bit....

We're going to be sending an invite to everyone I've gotten a PM from to this point. If you've already sent me a PM, check your forum inbox. If it's not there, let me know.

That said, I'm not going to be taking any more invites right now. We've got enough people for this round. I'm not sure yet if there will be another round of alpha or not, but either way, beta should be coming out very very soon.

Well, we didn't know that was going to be the case; generally at least some people wind up getting left out of the alpha who send in, and that was the expectation when we did the contest.  But... in the end, yeah.  Still, I think in general in life that one person's happy thing shouldn't make another person's happy thing less happy.  That's not always possible as a way to feel, but I think the world would in general be better and have fewer wars and such if we did feel that way more. ;)

That's my feeling.  It never even occurred to me to have an issue with how things turned out.  I'm quite content to enjoy the game and give feedback that will hopefully make SC a strong title that can help Arcen grow and move forward.

If only my little Greek and Norse folk felt the same way...maybe they could live in harmony with each other instead of instantly going to war ;)
