Maybe splash some flavor text into the description if it's not too long already. Something to this effect:
Captain $flashyname looked out his window sipping coffee, taking a view of the recent wreckage, and the few remaining buildings that mocked him. His ship had already destroyed the other capital ships, guard posts, and turrets in the region. Yes there was nothing left for him to do except enjoy his coffee, and wait for the bomber regiment to arrive to mop up the remaining targets. "Another cup sir?" The captain shook his head looking disappointed. "No matter how many times we change the ship's name, I just can't get through the anti-mater defenses!" $dubious first officer salutes "We shall eventually find a name that will bring these last few AI buildings to their knees! I've already prepped the crew to change the name again, on your order sir." It wasn't certain who would cave first, the AI's resolve, or $flashyname's unusually paranoid reserve of paint.
I <3 this. There's just something great about the idea of renaming your ship (by painting it on the hull, no less) making it more effective in battle, completely justifying all the patches in-universe. It's like in Soviet AI War, fourth wall breaks
you. Heh.
