Sometimes you need to have time move forward a year ro so.  May as well get paid for it.

So I just fired up beta 1.006. I take a look at the new attitude affecting planetary buildings.

Hydroponics plant: increases relationship .05 per month. So .6 a year.

Bah!

It's .1 a year, actually. There are twenty months of twenty days in TLF's year.

That's awfully low, though. Even over the course of fifty years, that's a mere +5 to the racial attitude.

That makes it +1/year (.05*10 = .5 * 2 = 1), I'm pretty sure.

Yeah, you're right. As Charlie might say: winning.

+1 a year is somewhat effective. Maybe it needs to be balanced upwards a bit? I'll have to see how everything plays out, but +1 a year is in a reasonable place.

EDIT: Ah, 0.1 a month is the lowest effect any building will have. The highest is 0.3, and you can stack buildings. Yeah, I'd say these guys are worthwhile. It's gonna drive the optimizer in me crazy trying to work out the best configurations though, since they tend to hurt relations with some races as much as they help with others.
