This subforum now has more posts (4,624) in a few weeks than Bionic Dues (3,202), Skyward Collapse (4,618), Shattered Haven (1,150) or Tidalis (1,414).

Okay, maybe that fact wasn't fun to you, but I think it is.

Well, considering I was someone who was looking at Bionic Dues wondering when to buy, being only minorly miffed that this "The Last Federation" thing I dismissed when I saw a combat screenshot was what was delaying Bionic Dues from getting a DLC...

Yeah, I find it sort of funny. In a sad, "I've seen this before" kind of way when I consider what the Sengoku people have to go through at Paradox. :(
Furthermore, it is my opinion that Hari must be destroyed.

Haha, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who was watching that. :D

Given my extreme fondness for this game, I'll count it as a fun fact for sure.  In the past it would have been really disappointing in the sense that I'm really bummed that all those other games did not catch on more (though Skyward certainly did go like hotcakes for a while before drying up), and in the moment each game is my special baby.

But this one feels more like AI War in the sense that I'm just so filled with ideas that couldn't remotely fit into any reasonable 1.0 release schedule.  This has been the first game where that was so intensely true as with AI War, and it's even more true here.  So it's an ideal game to catch on, heh, since this particular well of ideas isn't going to run dry anytime soon on my part.  Whereas with Skyward I was really going to be struggling to get a second expansion's worth of quality content for it, for instance.

I have a crazy idea for the  next Arcen  game.  A 2D SHUMP / Racer/ Simulation/Grand Strategy set in a futuristic sci-fi universe where you race spaceships across the galaxy in a simulation with your goal to be the winner of Interstellar Racing League .

At first you are just a Racer, but as you earn currency you become an established racing company and have to manage racers and stockholders.

Many alien races, tracks on different planets a day it's like a mix of Grand Prix Story by Kairosoft,  Mario Kart,  and a Grand Strategy  Game.

A very good thing to me as well.

With previous games I kept wanting an expansion, and while I quite enjoyed Skyward's expansion, that was... pretty much it.  And Bionic Dues in particular had alot of potential for expansions, but it just didn't sell enough.  So it's mostly JUST been AI War that's gotten any.  Kinda frustrating.

THIS though at least seems to be doing well so far.... let's hope that keeps up.... and seems to be the sort of game where you never really hit a point of having "too much" stuff in it.  I love games that manage that one.

I always figured Arcen just puts a whole bunch of genres and settings on a dart board, gets the staff together for a party, and then flings darts in a drunken haze until they come up with a design doc.

If that's not the case, I prefer to live in ignorance.  :P

All the topics on the front page of this forum say Today, which is a really good sign.

Misread your post as "Toady" instead of "Today" and had to double check which forum I was logged into...

Glad TLF has had such success!

Fun fact: Since the original post, there have been 124 posts in the Last Federation boards, and zero in the Bionic Dues, Skyward Collapse, Shattered Haven, and Tidalis forums.
Furthermore, it is my opinion that Hari must be destroyed.

Yeah there is a lot of traffic around here...

My unread posts exploded recently to the point of expanding into more then one page if I slack to much with daily checking up.
