So I just understood how resources work
« on: June 08, 2015, 05:53:37 pm »
After 16 hours of gameplay, according to steam.

Any idea on how to make it clearer ? I tried to rephrase what's on the tooltips but what I "produced" failed to be more explicit.

well aside from the obvious tutorial explanation I think that putting a toltips of sorts on the buildings that use resources detailing all the different resources they with explanations of the benefits of each resources apart from that I don't really have an idea at the moment.

The tutorial and the ability to revisit it by talking with the compute should be sufficient. I've described it several times in response to the beta reports.
Note: This post contains content that is meant to be whimsical. Any belittlement or trivialization of complex issues is only intended to lighten the mood and does not reflect upon the merit of those positions.

I think that Chris' goals on this part is to have the game itself teach players, instead of using the tutorial, in order to make the tutorial as simple as possible. So basically if it could NOT be in the tutorial in the first place, but people understood it anyway, he'd be happier as far as I can tell.

I'm writing this because I think it failed on this part - however, the only thing I'd be looking for here is descriptions to make the existing tooltips clearer, or a suggestion to have the link between both being more intuitive.
