Hmm...that certainly didn't say much, but it could potentially be awesome. Couldn't see the flash-content due to being at work.

And in other related good news, its being developed by the same people who did the tropico 3 game, which was fairly faithful to tropico 2 while still bringing improvements to the genre. I couldn't think of a developer with a better track record for remakes to be doing this game.

Just saw the video. This could be good, provided they stay true to the concept and feel.

Man I loved DK2 and was disappointed when the video 'preview' of 3 that was inclued with my copy of 2 never materialized. This looks interesting.

Kalypso has a good rep with me (Tropico 3), so this could turn out to be a lot of fun!

Yeah, there was DK2 then there were Evil Genius, and then nothing. It's time to revive the genre.

Most definatly. DK ruled. Evil Genius was cool as well, although a bit unfinished.

I loved Evil Genius. Such a fun game, and such an empty genre. With all the Zombie stuff going around, someone should do a survival horror version of it :)

I'm failing to see any similarities. Care to enlighten me?

I did actually see a Zombie Survival Rogue-like somewhere on the DF forums though...
