Neptune's Pride
« on: November 06, 2010, 07:10:31 pm »
Has anyone found this little gem of a game? I just joined and am waiting for a game to start. It's a free-mium thing, but the important parts are free :). Anyone want to try and join me? I'm currently in the Eta Alrakis game (has 6 of 8 people at last check).
Avid League player and apparently back from the dead!

If we weren't going for your money, you wouldn't have gotten as much value for it!

Oh, wait... *causation loop detonates*

A friend of mine was playing it. Looks interesting, but not sure if want.

Who could have thought that people still program this type of games? Reminds me of Stars! http://wiki.starsautohost.org/wiki/What_Is_Stars!
15 years later but now online instead of PBEM =)

PS. The link I gave leads to nowhere because the forum software strips the exclamation mark from the link. It has to be part of the link.

It's a great game!  I did a review of it and an interview with its creator last year, that's how much the game impressed me.   ;D  If you like Diplomacy and sci-fi fleet warfare, you can't go wrong.

Unfortunately, I have not enjoyed their follow-on game, Blight of the Immortals.  It is still in beta, though, so I'll wait and see.
