How do the bot animations "play"?
« on: September 08, 2014, 04:59:07 pm »
Just a quick question that occured while working on the DiggleBot:

The bot "dict" files contain four frames worth of animation.
The animation of e.g. the EMPBot looks much smoother than that, though.

Does the bot animation simply loop back and forth, i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, 3, 2, 1?
Or am I missing some more elaborate trick here?

Wow, that was quick :). Thanks!
If you don't mind a follow-up:
Is the last frame repeated at each direction change?

No problem. :)

And no, the last frame is only shown once 1 2 3 4 3 2 1, not 1 2 3 4 4 3 2 1.  Otherwise you wind up with a kind of a "pause" at that frame, which would be bad. :)
