Heya folks! Sorry on being slow to respond here -- soooo many things to sort out all over the place with a launch like this. To various comments (apologies if I miss anything directed at me):
1. We're at $46k, 92% funded now, at just under 17 hours in! This is a lot higher than the first campaign, but I expected this simply because we have so many people returning from the first one. It was kind of a captive audience that was easy to bring back, even though realistically I think we have under a third of them back so far (and about half the pledge amount, interestingly). So there are some new folks as well, or people upped their pledges, or both.
2. I fixed the errors in the rewards image there -- thanks for noting those!
3. Unfortunately I can't update the actual original kickstarter page at all anymore, because those become locked when a campaign ends (successfully, failure, or canceled). The successful projects that you see with edits are ones that are editing a spotlight page, which is different from the actual campaign page -- and only successful campaigns get a spotlight page. It makes sense, because they want to prevent devs from going back and editing the promises they made after a campaign is over.
4. The website and blog and steam pages and email lists and so on have all seen updates now, thankfully. So many places...
5. My projection for this one, personally, is that we might be able to top $100k, but just barely. That will be a battle between the bad time of year against the momentum from the first kickstarter as well as the general excitement that people have on projects that over-fund. I think that $300k is ridiculously out of reach for this one, but I could be wrong; right now we're seeing a huge surge thanks to people coming back who were already aware and waiting for it, though. Judging by some graphs, I think maybe $6k are pledges from people who did not back the first time, though, so that's something. Actually I see that there are exports for that, so I can get better numbers on that front, hmm. I'll do that later on, since that will be a point of interest.
6. At any rate, this definitely looks like it's going to be a thing this time.
So that's something we're extremely happy about and grateful for! My heart won't rest entirely easy until we pass that first stretch goal and have funding for Pablo, but we look set to do that okay.
