Construction template for mines - cannot build over wormholes

I've run into a bit of a problem here with placing mines over wormholes because when you try to place the mines right onto the wormhole, the selection disappears (assuming the game thinks you're trying to select the wormhole instead), so I can't use any of the templates with mines unless they're not wormhole-oriented.

Is there a temporary solution to this?

Well, you can't place them directly on top of the wormhole (iirc), but you can have the placement of a template snap to center on the wormhole, I believe.  Left clicking on a wormhole with a template-to-place on your cursor shouldn't try to select a wormhole, though it may fail the placement and clear your cursor (holding shift should prevent the clearing).

I have tried that while holding shift and with the 'snap to wormhole', but it still refuses to place them down but I still have the mine template selected..

Are any of the mines in the template touching the wormhole (or otherwise in an illegal position) when you try to place it?

They are all appropriately located (in 'cyan colour, can place here') around the wormhole.

Ctrl+alt+delete use Ctrl+ Shift and Spam Mouse1 Around the Wormhole , Sure , it won't place all Five mines on the Wormhole , but atleast two gets in the wormhole

I'm with the OP on this one. A template was created specifically for a certain number and placement of mines. If that does not work, even though the mines show up as green (or whatever indicating that is a valid build location), than simply holding shift does not solve the problem, as simply holding shift and control/alt without a template could get similar results anyway.

I had the same problem. Also, If you make the mines a bit farther away in the template, it works, or if you try to place it off center, where it creates the ones farthest away.
I think its considering the wormhole, to be larger than it is.
