Some unbalances with Astro trains?

I did not catch quite what was killing my Turret Astro Train MK II, but something made it go pop very very quick. Granted, I had a ~600 unit fleet, but mostly Mk I and II units. It went down realtivly slow to start with, then some unit suddenly got in range and boom, 70% to 0% in a few seconds. I do not have the save here now, but the units I used was Fighter MK I and II, Bomber Mk I and II, Armor booster MK I, cruiser MK I, Leech starship (and a select few captured units like 2 or 3 sentinel frigs MK I and IV, and a couple of laser gatlings and some other small stuff like eye bots and space planes.)

Armor Piercing damage is great against high hp targets so that would be my guess.

Mark IV ships are generally pretty strong so I'd check the sentinel frigate, then armor boosters and then MK II bombers. It should be a unit you have a lot of or that has a high dps (with an armor piercing attribute in either case).

Or you had some Z Mirrors in range and didn't notice.  A cluster of Z Mirrors can drop a turret train in about half a second.

I usually play without trains so have no idea - but take a look at their hull type - probably one of shorter range units had significant bonus against that and it went down instatnly when that units closed to range. It seems that turret train is ultra-heavy which would mean that set of mk I&II bombers will make short work of it.

I would say that astro-turret trains have hosed hp - Mk I is 1m, Mk II is 2m and Mk III is 200m.... seems wrong. These were supposed to be fragile but maybe something in line of 10m, 20m, 30m ?

I think they were, but I'm not sure it was recently.
