The Latest prerelease is now out:
http://www.arcengames.com/share/AIWar1014N.zipThat version is an upgrade from version 1.013, so you have to already have 1.013 (or greater) installed. Just unzip it into your game folder (usually C:\Program Files\Arcen Games\AI War\ unless you specified something else). Please make sure that your unzip process keeps the folder structure from the zip file, rather than just unpacking all of the files into the base target directory.
What's new since 1.014M:
(Cumulative release notes since 1.013 are attached at the bottom)
-------------------
-The AI will now do a better job of latching its ships onto command stations and not giving up when the command station is damaged. Also, if the command station is damaged that will incite the AI to finish killing it.
-The costs of the engineer techs has been reduced somewhat.
-The ship caps are now always shown in the second line of the hover tooltip.
-The different engineer types and the mobile repair station now have varying engineering rates (rates of repair and boosting).
CHANGES FROM PAST PRERELEASES
--------------
-The glitch with the debugging "false" appearing at the top of the screen is fixed.
-It is now possible to build placement-mode ships for which you do not yet have the resources. This is the nature of a flow-based economy, and it was purely an oversight that this did not work before.
-It is no longer possible to accidentally place mines or other things behind the build button for them.
-The repeat rate for placing ships in drag-move move is now much slower, which makes it a lot harder to accidentally place too many ships.
-A new Alt+Left-click has been added to placing ships/mines/whatever 10x at a time instead of just 5x. Paired with the immediately prior change, this gives players a much higher degree of control while still allowing just as rapid deployment.
-The issues with repair rates being way too low has been fixed. The repair rate is 50x as fast as it was in recent prereleases at minimum, and in some cases faster. No ship now takes longer than 3 minutes for a single mark I engineer to fully repair.
