Nope, it's actually not -- that's because these are cross-planet selections, rather than selections at just your current planet, and it's not possible to select ships across multiple planets at once. If you need to select multiple, you'd want to select the first one on the planet you want, and then use the planetary summary on that planet to select them all, or some other multi-select method. Alternately, if you need to give orders to a lot of ships from different planets, then you'd want to use the Find button on the galaxy map view, which is the only way to give cross-planet move orders to a bunch of ships of the same type that are all on different planets.
