Maybe some day, but let's see what it takes to get the existing turret controllers balanced, and that will help us know how much of an HBC (presumably just one) each planet can stand ;)

It would make the IV HBC seem rather awkward with its literal 1 cap though.

I don't mind that the "Vengeful" AI Type basically sends a normal sized Exo-Wave everytime you kill a Core Shield Generator, but you might want to include that in the description, which as of now only includes: Warp Gates, Guard Posts, Data Centers, and Command Stations.

In addition, the "reaction" logic seems a little wonky. For example, in my last game I killed a Command Station and it sent nothing, but I killed a CSG-E, and it sent a massive force.

Is this intended (not sure if I should Mantis it or not, I don't really understand its intended behavior)?

Its intended behavior is to throw a tantrum exo whenever you destroy something at least vaguely important to it, with the importance factoring into just how big said exo is.  There's quite a few objects that trigger it and the description should be (not sure if it is) kind of open-ended about exactly what triggers it.

Not sure why the CSG caused such a big one for you, their TriggersExoOfThisBudgetTimesAIPOnDeathIfVengefulAI value is only 200.  That's twice what it does when you kill a command station (and 4x a normal guard post), but I'm guessing you wouldn't be so surprised if the CSG only sent one 2x as big as what you've gotten used to thus far.  Then again, AIP may have been significantly higher by the time you popped the CSG.

Well, what specifically do you want to know?  If you want to know the size and composition of those vengeance exos you can look in LogicLog_EventAttackPopulation.txt (other exos will go in there too).

Yeah... I don't think I'll be playing that on intensity 8 or higher very much.

Think I've found something:
It looks like Exotic and Vicious Exotic are actually producing the same size waves.  I didn't get much past 2 hours into that game, so I'm not sure if there's a time factor or something overriding the equations in the log, but it looks like the Vicious is using the wrong waveIntervalMultiplier value, resulting in 1/10 sized waves.

I see these posts, and then I look for the place to put my money and CAN NOT FIND IT! This is absolutely terrible. I thought my wife could be a tease but this is just mean Keith... A Private alpha were we can see those involved talking about it but cant actually play with the new toys ourselves? As soon as I find the override control on that kitten I swear I am going to make it eat you.

Now that is out of the way, I don't mind if you actually take your time getting things nice and polished for this new release. Maybe look at going public beta around or before June 10th date and going to full 7.0 around late June. That way everything is nice and polished and those that don't toy with beta patches can enjoy a more balanced game. (Note that I personally go full beta patches because I MUST HAVE the new things. But I do recall a thread about wanting less beta patches and more official releases.)

As for the private alpha itself, I would love to get in, but I don't know how much actual test time I will have. Full time job, a wife, and a 4, soon to be 5, year old daughter leaves me with limited free time to play. Still, wouldn't mind an invite, but given my lack of time I didn't bother with the private message.
