Patrol Routes

Alright, a question for those of you with more experience with redirectors.

I attempted to setup a patrol route for a small fleet of fighters to deal with minor incursions.  I used a triangle of systems to bounce them through, and each one is set to FRD them into the next system.

However, even when there's an incursion, they ignore it and just keep traveling to the next system.  What am I doing wrong?

Are you ships in FRD mode?  Try putting the patrol posts as FRD by pressing V while giving the posts a move order.

Yep, did that.  They redirect into another system as FRD which then redirects them into a circle of FRD.  They just never stop redirecting to deal with local intruders.

Hmm, I'll need to look into this.  Not that I can't set up something similar myself, but if you can post your save here (replay -> additional options -> attach) will help me make sure I'm looking at the setup you're describing.

I overwrote that old save but I'll setup another one so you can make sure it's not a Pebcak error.  I assume it is, I'm just not using the pieces correctly.

Files attached.  First is when a wave is inbound and the patrol route is setup.  It starts at the dock in Ceasar which has a dedicated dock which only builds MK1 Fighters.  It FRDs them to Yaezing.  Yaezing has a redirector which FRDs them to Marik.  Marik has a redirector with FRDs them to Ceasar. Ceasar then has a redirector with FRDs them to Yaezing.  Simple Patrol loop.

The second save is after the wave hit.  You can see the Fighters ignoring the wave that just poured in the gate.  I purposely got the rest of my fleet out of the way so there's no confusion about 'enough firepower' or anything else, just to make sure I hadn't fouled something up.
