Nuclear Command + Rebelling Colonies = Must take 100 Aip hit
« on: December 20, 2013, 09:10:39 pm »
Rebelling Colonies seem to die from nukes, and the only way to save them leads to setting off a nuke... So what do I do? This seems like something that shouldn't happen. Trying to hold the world without killing the station is unlikely to work in the game I'm playing since it's next door to a core world (I haven't even got there in my game since I have yet to get pass the MK IV world right before it at a bottleneck).

Yeah, nothing you can do. If you don't have a save before the rebellion declares (they choose their planet pretty randomly), you can use the "be peaceful" cheat to cancel the unfair AIP.
If warheads can't solve it, use more warheads.

Great the one time I turn off cheats too.

Franky this seems unfair and should be changed. The Rebelling Colonies should be like other captureables and be nuke-proof.

EDIT: Also I only saw that it wasn't unnukeable at about a half hour after they showed up.

Agreed, rebelling colonies need nuke immunity. I'm surprised this hasn't been noticed before.

You can enable cheats in-game if you type "cmd:enable cheats" first.
