Does having two identical fabricators give me 2x the ship cap?

On my current (5.011 vanila) map there are two Anti-Starhip Arachnid fabricators. I have one of them, which allows me to build 49 Arachnids. Would owning both let me build 2x49 Arachnids?

Yeah, I've made that mistake before. 

The only reason to capture a second fab of the same ship would be if you lost the first one. In the old days there was some (small) value in being able to produce ships in different parts of the empire, but with warp gates even that motivation is gone.
