Well, things are already settling down into a bit more of a routine with AVWW, so that we're not so swamped with questions and press and new players and so on as we were the first couple of days. The hardest period is when only a really small number of people can answer the questions of the general player populace. As things progress and the players are able to answer things for one another in an ever-expanding group, that gets easier and we're able to spend more time on development rather than giving tips.
In terms of AI War, things have mostly been quiet on the forums here and I've not seen a lot in the way of requests come through mantis. There was a desync Keith looked into right after AVWW came out, but he couldn't duplicate it. As for the stuff in 5.018, I wasn't aware there was stuff queued to go out, but now I see there is. I'll put that on my list to get out before too long.
These things always go in cycles; the same thing happened while Tidalis was being developed and when it was in beta, and then AI War had it's busiest and most changed-filled period ever after that. Frankly I don't ever see doing THAT again with AI War (one complete re-envisioning is enough for me per game, heh), but I do want to build some majorly new large stuff on top of what is there. There's also some enhancements we're working on for AVWW that we'll be able to backport to AI War at some point in the future, too, which I'm looking forward to (but they're not even done in AVWW, so it's moot yet). Mostly GUI/performance type of stuff.
Thanks for the congrats on the AVWW release!
