We all probably play a 20 hour + campaign, but how do you spread the days out?

If I am going solo on 70 planets or less, then within 24 hours I have either won or lost. Most games I have played with others to completions, we might have sessions that are 6 hrs or more and pick it up with whatever time we can do in a sitting. AI War is good stuff. Spent 5 hrs in one game making sure that the 1st planet I had captured had a lvl 4 factory by shuttling waves in with 5 or 6 transports.(3060 btw. suicidal now)

If we weren't going for your money, you wouldn't have gotten as much value for it!

You need more options. ;)

Kalzarius has a game that he has been playing weekly with his friend since last August.  Most of my games with my alpha testers are played on 1-2 weeknights every week, about 3 hour sessions each, and tend to last 1-2 months on average (often with gaps based on schedules, etc).

Yeah, once a week (or two) for several months is about right. My buddy and I wind up taking two or three planets per session, depending on how many major AI assaults we have to repel.

About the same for me, in four player.  If we run into a real behemoth mark IV planet that we have to take, then that can mean one planet in a night, but that's comparably rare (and the feeling of achievement when that is done is really something).

Hehe, too tue. Though I have finished a few small games the vast majority get lost as the copious amount of beta patches that get put out keep me restarting over and over and over and..  :P

1 week to 3 months, usually. Depends on the game, single player or multi :).

Some weeks are just hard to find time to play, others got too much time to play :P

I tend to take 1-2 days to play.  Usually I'll abandon a game if I can't complete it in one session.  To assist though, I tend to play on scenarios that make the game take 5-8 hours (small 40-50 planets, 100%-200% handicaps, with lv 8-9  AI's and double waves).

My preferred game is a very long one (I put AI progress on 1/60 or less) and I like to play in intense sessions of maybe 6 hours or even up to 10 hours at a time, otherwise I just can't get into it.
However I haven't had time to do this for ages, so I have been starting games and then abandoning them after going back to them later and thinking... "Where was I?"
Ho hum....

The notes system would like a quick word with you. It's great to be able to leave a quick fullgame summary on your home planet, then summarize where your fleet is on relevant planets. Definitely worth looking at!
