Grenade launcher shot-sound

Based on 4.066/4.067, so I do not want to create a Mantis report for it and also want to know how others think about the following.

Grenade launchers, when shooting, make the exact same sound as ships dying on an other planet. This so often makes me check other positions I would suggest changing this sound to something else, and keep the 'dying on other planet' a very destinct sound.

The questions:
-Does this still apply in the very last patch? (Was in a 16h campaign that just went wonkers, so havent played the last patches, yet.)
-Do you agree, disagree, find it trivial?
(Based on these I may or may not post a Mantis report.)

Personally I do not see it as very important to have it changed, but I sure would like to see it changed at some point.

I never use them, so I can't really say, but if it is as you describe it to be, then it obviously requires changes.

On a similarly sound-related issue: Could ships warping as per a redirector post's orders be made to not play the warping sound? Patrols constantly going "shwoop" all the time is a real pain to hear.

Gee, at this rate it seems that all ships that are allied to the humans (including other humans and their own ships) shouldn't have the "shwooping" sound, and have only enemy ships make this sound.

I made that comment in jest, making fun of how there has been a sudden influx of requests to add these mufflers to other ships. However, now that I reread that, it may not be such a bad idea.

EDIT: And about the thread's actual topic. Yea, the grenade ammo hit sound needs to be changed, but I can't think of a good replacement.

How about a marine saying "Kaboom Baby!" every time a grenade launches from Starcraft 2? 

It was a marine right?  Can't remember :P
