Feature Request - Circular Selection Box

I have quick request/suggestion.

Since ships often arrange them in a circular pattern, it would be nice to have the option to have a circular selection box instead of a square one.  Is this something that easily possible?  or a giant pain in the neck?

It's not something that would be very easy, no.  But, there's a suggestion forum where you can make suggestions to be considered later when there is more time, and to be voted on by folks in the community DLC poll, etc.
