Yea, you aren't the only one to point out that the interplanetary boosters are a bit extreme right now.  But be assured that they are not silly, they are deadly serious ;)

Still, out of mercy we'll reduce the boost from 200% to 100% ;)

How about starships, do they stack? If not, it's ok, but if they're, it'll be all the same, a big blob with all kinds of starships.
Most may still choose to blob around but the vitally important aspect to this is that now players won't be heavily disadvantaging themselves if they choose not to blob, so that's another mighty check in the 'there is no one way to play' box.  [X]  In fact, depending on how the frontage distances line up, not blobbing may well result in a slight net gain in firepower.  How's about that then!  Lovely.   ;D

I still think the fleet line of starships should modify more than damage.  Presently they are just a muntions booster with more HP.  If they also increased slightly chance to hit, shields, range and RoF it would make them feel more like a general force multiplier, than the "big brother" version of a small ship.
