In over a week of testing, I haven't found a single thing wrong with DoW. I'll attribute that to the high level of craftsmanship rather than my being too busy having fun to spot anything.

It's also possible you're not doing as much crazy as some of the rest of us. Like my "Lets turn on every single super weapon to hard, exos to 5/10, turn on almost every single other option, and conqueror every single planet in the galaxy with my Spire Empire. THEN go for a Showdown victory. BECAUSE REASONS!

I think maybe I've been having too much fun playing the game, also.  It's been a while since I've played AI War this much, and I keep forgetting I'm supposed to be finding bugs and stuff.

Actually that's just fine.  If you're able to play and have fun and you're not seeing bugs, then mission accomplished :)

There's enough testers hammering on this thing that I don't think anyone needs to pick game setups or whatever that they aren't already wanting to pick.

Okay, I got enough power to reactivate the Nomad Beacon. Now I'm getting constant exos due to "Nomad Beacon on AI World."

Except it's on my world. The exos are appearing in the same system as the beacon, as well. It's super wonky.

edit - I put it on my homeworld, and the AI is now launching exos that appear on my homeworld every minute. Is that supposed to happen?
Ok, it wasn't treating it as an AI HW (that's much more frequent than every minute).

But the alert text was wrong, that's been corrected.  It triggers when the beacon's on any non-nomad planet.

Also, the exos will now spawn on an AI HW, rather than whatever planet the beacon's on.

Btw, I wouldn't suggest leaving the beacon on your homeworld, or any planet whose existence you care about, very long.

Are things supposed to be able to have 0% HP?

10 hp of 10,000 is remarkably close to 0% ;)

A bit late here but I am definitely looking forward to this new expansion. I bought multiple copies of the game for friends (Play this dangit!) when it was on sale on Steam and while I've been quiet here on the forums, I've always loved this game and can't wait for more. New toys in this game is always a good thing.

I don't think Dire Guardian's Lair can be considered "a good thing"... from close enough, at least.  :)

So those exos are supposed to be impossible to stop?

If you're prepared you can stop the exos for quite a while, I imagine.

The threat from just leaving the beacon on a (non-nomad) planet you want to keep isn't the exos.

Special ability is that ALL ships ignore all other orders and try to close to melee range with the Baconcraft.  Including turrets.

Bacon even brings out carnivorous raptors.

Quote
Rinter looks left...looks right...sees no sign of anyone around! Quickly whips out secret stash of bacon and begins cooking it!
Giant Claw smells bacon in the other room. She starts sniffing around toward Rinter.
Circe runs into the kitchen--is the most likely place bacon would be--yelling,  "BACON! "
Giant Claw yells "I KNOW! I CAN SMELL IT!"
Rinter: Pesky deins! bacon always rouses them out of hiding (worry)
Giant Claw opens her maw, "Gimme!"

My friends are weird.
