Well, I just made it (thanks to the sandbox mode)... and re-read the Exodian Blade Activated message. Indeed, it was "an exogalactic wormhole still guarded by [an AI Home Command Station]". So my bad. Entierely. I apologize. I'm a jerk.
But... Why?
Roleplay: why can't the exodian blade cross the wormhole without the command station?
Gameplay: why can't I have fun kicking the AI in the teeth a last time before saying good bye?
A last remark. This ending is a bit... abrupt. I don't know how to change this. A little longer last journal message? Well, the last rush-through-a-swarm-of-angry-AI-ships was fun. Maybe it's just me and/or the sandbox mode.
A last-last remark. How just crossing the exogalactic wormhole with the exodian blade makes the... oops, spoil was near. Well, It's "destroyer of worlds", nobody would have been spoiled, right? Well, how *this* do *that*? Instantaneously? With no explanation about how in the last journal entry. Well, maybe that's really why I think this ending is a bit abrupt: a so verbose explanation (and god knows I love that sort of verbose lore explanation) when you find the exodian blade, and at the end, nothing.
Can't you polish this a bit?
pleeease *.*
