This one has a laundry list of fixes and tweaks to it, including a few new lobby and settings options that may interest you.

It also continues to improve the ships that have been doing "well" in the Worst Unit polls.  An old favorite ship of mine, the Teleport Battlestation, has been one of those that has gotten the buff this time around.  Those have been tricky forever, basically, because they tend to be either overpowered defensive powerhouses, or expensive bulky things that don't really do enough damage to warrant their cost.  Here's hoping this brings them a lot closer!

Also fixed in this version was a bug with the Dyson Sphere that was causing it to basically take a vacation in the prior version.  Now it will be back in full force, so watch out for that.

Enjoy!

This is a standard update that you can download through the in-game updater itself, if you already have 4.000 or later. When you launch the game, you'll see the notice of the update having been found if you're connected to the Internet at the time.  If you don't have 4.000 or later, you can download that here.

Awesome. As soon as I manage to complete a fallen spire finish in my current game (which in my case means dealing with those @!&$ing artillery and black widow golems!), I'll try out some of the new minor faction scaling stuff, especially the now scalable advanced hybrids.
Also, thanks for fixing that annoying AOE firing on something in a forcefield bug.

And finally, thanks for actually not forgetting about AI War while AVWW is sort of in crazy state of flux and development right now. :)

Also, good to see the camouflaged vampire claw thing being fixed, even if it barely missed the window for 5.035. (It's a pretty rare occurrence, so I personally don't think it really deserves a quick fix release)

Haha easy for you to say when you're not the one in the game with it.

That's what a Camouflager AI does to people ;)

Alright, I've got the wiki updated.

There was one undocumented change I found, on the Riot Control Tazer (Mounted by the Riot Mk II) there was a range increase from 3,000 to 4,000. I'm assuming this slipped in as part of adding the new Riot Control Grav Tazer (mounted by the Mk III) to the game.

D.

Ah, this explains why the Dyson Sphere suddenly decided to murder my fleet stationed on the world.

Saw it wasn't making ships so I took the planet, great resources.

Install update and within ten minutes I'm left wondering why my reserve fleet is gone.

Should probably read update notes before installing next time, might serve me better to hold off updating.

Congratulations man! This is not an easy game, but that makes winning it all that much sweeter. :)

indeed, I remember how excited I was after I won my first 7/7 game (and more recently my first 9/9 game). Losing is fun, but winning an incredibly tough game is a lot more satisfying.

Even the losing tends to be fun to watch.
In other RTS's I just quit and restart when I'm certain I'll lose but in AI war I just hold tight and watch the fireworks.

(while I don't stop building ships or ordering up defences since there is always a chance...)
