AI War Map Generation glitch

I recently reinstalled my computer and reloaded my copies of AI Wars and the three expansion packs. When I generate random maps, it always populates with the same set of bonus ships. It includes one or two ships from Zenith Reminant, and the rest are from the base game. It shows that the other expansion packs are enabled, and the various additions (minor factions/AI plots, etc) are also listed. But no matter how many time I regenerate with a new map seed, the bonus ship types are the same.

Have you adjusted the allowed ship types away from simple?  I think the game defaults to simple on a new install.
