Hover Over Ship Text in Reference Screen Missing

The hover text that gave information on given ship types in the reference menu has randomly gone away, and I can not figure out how to turn it back on.  I have gone through every option in the interface and key bindings, but have had no luck so far.  Any help would be appreciated.

As in "it hasn't worked at all since you last updated", or as in "it was working but then it stopped in the middle of a game"?

It stopped working for me during a game. I might have accidentally pressed something on the screen, but have been unable to figure out what.

It might be that you were on the galaxy map at the time, the ship detail window cannot show in "galaxy map mode".  Does it work if you switch to planet view and then retry?

It is the reference chart in galaxy view that the tooltips are gone from.  IE what you reference when an enemy is warping in to choose the right turrets.  Is that accessible from planet view?

Yea, just click the "STATS" button (lower-left), then the Reference tab in the window that opens.

Sorry I mixed up planet and galaxy view it looks like.  Hitting the stats view which is only available in that view brings me to the familiar reference chart screen.  But hovering over the ships in the left column nor the ship it is comparing against will show their hover over tips.

You're not the first person to be confused by it not working on the galaxy view; hopefully it shouldn't be too hard to fix that inconsistency when we're back to spending more dev time on AIW.
