Getting snagged on an AI FFG
« on: March 08, 2010, 03:25:57 pm »
I don't know if this could be considered a "bug" or not, but it's really annoying.  There's a simple solution to my issue, but I just wanted to mention it in-case it was not intended behavior.

I'm in a multiplayer map and I was sending transports and starships across several AI planets to one of my new homes.  Along the way my ships got snagged on a AI FFG that was sitting in-between one wormhole and the other.  The simple solution is for me to kill the AI FFG, but I was wondering if ships routes can be made smart enough to not try to travel through one so that it doesn't happen again without my noticing.

Yea, this sort of thing should go in bug reports, but thanks for reporting it in any event.  Do you have a save where this is about to happen (or can be made to happen)?

My guess is only slip-n-slide, as there is no pathfinding below the galaxy map level (iirc).  Typically that's sufficient, though.
