I was going to ask if the AI could theoretically defeat...
« on: November 07, 2011, 03:31:29 am »
*Fallen Spire campaign spoilers, don't read if you don't want to know!*

the Spire's final push, but then I watched the 2 Super Dreadnoughts, by themselves, literally instakill the AI Avenger.

So, I don't think it's possible.

But... would it be possible to set up a game with 2 10/10 Core/Golem AIs with 9999 AIP, summon the Exo-transciever, and see it plow through?
Signature out of date.

You may need to cheat a bit to figure this one out ….

The AI can wear them down on a high enough difficulty and/or special-threat-multiplier (which is based on the number of human homeworlds and difficulty).  That's why I had to buff them in a recent patch.  They're not supposed to lose :) (the initial waves can lose, that's fine, but the follow-up spawns need to eventually win)
