So, the valley without wind has a whirlwind of things going on, you say? ;)

I'm really excited to be able to show this to you folks in a couple of weeks -- we're looking to be on-schedule with that so long as some of the last art gets at least to beta quality polish by then.  But the art that is there already is looking fantastic, and the game itself is getting increasingly refined in its mechanics and interplay of subsystems.  There are still hundreds of disparate threads that we're in the process of pulling all together at the moment, but I'm really pleased with how that's shaping up.

Multi-player will be available from the start in the beta, but there's a very high probability that it's going to need a lot of bugfixing right at the start.

Hahaha, thanks guys. ;)

In terms of achievements, I'm not sure if we'll have very many of those ready for the start of beta, or not.  But I'm expecting to have a ton of them by the time we reach 1.0.

When it comes to Arcengames, I am not worried about a game having not enough achievements lol.
Make ALL unlocks in the game achievements, I dare you.... You need to beat Champions Online  :P.

Whoa!  I've not seen that site before.  Crazy that our games are so high on the list of how many achievements they have.  I had no idea. :D

Don't mean to derail but AStats is a heavily moderated site for "serious" (please note: serious in a gamers term, not life..) achievement hunters like me and others.
And being high in that list does enhance sales..
Anyway, I was kidding, I want this game to be good and achievements come second :).

It's Astats (and SteamStats, jsarabians.com, etc) that tipped the balance making me buy  AI War (not enough time sunk there!) in the first place, now it's the customer service that keeps me here ;)
