Just logged in to Tolls server and I'm stuck in a chunk I can't exit and I'm unable to pause the game. Is it possible to get rid of this character and start again on the server? I'm unable to abandon and I can't see how I can escape from the chunk.

Mine's running again. It should always be running, although if I'm not awake when an update is posted, the update will take a while, of course.
