Player Item Bags removal?
« on: April 06, 2012, 01:39:54 pm »
I am new to the game and just wondered if there is a way to get rid of the Player Item Bags.

If not, is there any chance you might incorporate a garbage bin-type thing in the settlements?

It's not a big deal, but I just don't like a random bag in the floor :P

With the way that the game world can constantly be in flux, today's trash could be tomorrow's treasure. In early beta there were health potions and levels, so you could out level health potions and they would be worthless, because they only healed a tiny fraction of your life bar. But since I tossed them on the floor and saved them, when all health potions were turned into upgrade stones, suddenly I had 1,000+ upgrade stones to play with.

My suggestion is to find a quiet spot like an entry room in a nearby building or a surface mission site, somewhere with 1 or 0 monster spawns -- to give you plenty of time to sort through items, and just dump it all there.

Yeah, I just moved them into the Intro Ice Age Building on the other side of a warp. :3

It will do for now.
