Nothing I've found in what little documentation there is, but it'd be a nice inclusion!

Mine is down as well.

Are there any logs of who connected and for how long?

None I know of. What you can check is when the worldfile was last updated; that'd tell you when the last time someone was around was, but not much else.

I was thinking maybe we should try and put a server to the test and try to get as many people on to a server as possible at one time.

It would take some organisation but it would be interesting to find out what the server can handle.

If you guys have a chance to test the new version with the new multiplayer sync model (well, the monster part is new, mainly), that would be great :)

Backup up your worlds might be a good idea, though.

Oh, and if you want to stresstest a server, let me know when and I'll make sure mine is up. I've been curious about a stresstest as well (I should be able to handle about a hundred people on my server, if what I've seen so far holds true).

Well, the networking load probably changed significantly with this latest version since now the server is the authority on monster position and has to keep all the clients updated about the monsters near them.  So a quick look at the average server outgoing bytes/sec/player would be interesting, but there's also a lot of other stuff changing soon so even those numbers will be grain-of-salt.
