Mini-boss fights

Are mini-boss fights supposed to play like this: http://youtu.be/oVj1CbrDBFc ? It looks to me like this might be a piece of beta AI, that might be still in development?

What difficulty was that fight on? Not saying that affects the derpy AI, just curious.

The henchmen AI is very very beta, perhaps even alpha at this point. But, I think this is good info to have. Thanks!
