Help, I have no survivors on my continent.

Hey,

Just wondering if someone can assist me... I'm on my first continent at T4, I've taken down 2 lieutenants and I've reached the overlord's cave where I promptly 'town portaled' away due to imminent death. This of course lead me to the conclusion that I needed to 'power up' prior to taking him on and part of that seems to be using guardian powers... My problem is I cant seem to find ANY survivors, and I cant cast the find survivor guardian power due to not having the required survivor.

I've been playing for about 17 hours.. I've sort out the secret missions far and wide including about 3 hours of dedicated search...... am I just cursed in the eyes of the RNG? I know there was a survivor mission that I failed right back at the beginning of the game (T1) but it didn't let me repeat it when I failed..... Can someone indicate the best places to search for these missions ?

Rescue survivor missions can be found in larger buildings and in caves if I remember correctly. However, your settlement should spawn threeish survivors so if it has none then that's a glitch.

Sorry to clarify - I do have the existing 3 but cant seem to find any more... I've explored far and wide... I guess what I'm after is a specific place in a specific chunk which has a high probability of spawning these missions... for example if I was after clay I go to ice age building hallways - can someone point me in the right direction?

In general you want secret missions that either let you rescue someone directly, or gives you a rescue survivor power that will spawn rescue missions on the map for you.

If you want them ASAP I've found that the skelebot junkyards are the easiest as you can 90% of the time just pop your head into the shacks and see every room. If a room is orange, check it out. If it's not, try the next shack.

Don't go through maze rooms obviously as they are too big to explore quickly. I don't recommend caves but they can be down there. They can be in any building it's just chance really.

The normal missions also reward rescue powers sometimes, so look for them.
