I would like to apologize for the tone of this post, as I mentioned previously, in my venting of my frustration, I just contributed to one of the very things I was complaining about.
Just to be clear, I was NOT complaining about the negative feedback. I love that we are attracting new people, and I love helping new people out. What I was frustrated with was mostly the repeated, duplicate criticisms over multiple new threads.

Also, I will admit that I am not very familiar with normal 1.0s of games with deep strategic components. For all I know, the 1.0 of game could be wonderful by 1.0 standards of games with this level of complexity (and by re-reading feedback, I'm getting the sense that it is). So I apologize for calling this game not "1.0 ready" when I didn't really know what "1.0 ready" is like in real life.

Finally, I would like to state that even though my original frustrations with some of the holes in the game still stand, I still think that the good of this game easily outweighs the bad. That was never in question in my mind.

I'm going to refrain from pointing out any irony in this thread.

Honestly I am!  :)

I think I already pointed that out.

Yea, this was mostly me just "ranting" and not really thinking straight. Just felt like I had to let it out, which sort of contributed to the very problem that prompted me to make this thread in the first place... :-[

So you did!

I'll continue to remain silent on the matter regardless!  ;)

Cheers, techsy730 -- it's no big thing.  But you also put something out there that I couldn't leave just standing the way it was, if that makes sense.

Anyway, let's move on!

The thing that's been rather surprising to me is all the rather rude and blunt subject lines that seem intended to offend/flame rather than generate actual discussion.  The posts themselves weren't particularly vitriolic, for the most part, but wow.  Why start things off that way?   Not many developers of any size are willing to respond constructively to that, even if it is tolerated on their forums.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear the game is selling well.  Hopefully that continues.

It's attention grabbing. Worked for people here, now didn't it ;)
