TOUHOU Anyone?

Anyone here play TOUHOU?  I'm looking for someone to play the only competitive VS danmaku (SHMUP/etc.) in the series:  Phantasmagoria of Flower View (9th).

Let's say I'm more beginner-intermediate; you do not need to have experience.  Some downloading and such will be required--and there will be need for some tweaking and patching of the game in order to patch the netplay.  With that regard, best if you are in North America, however not necessary.

EDIT:  Actually, on that same note, does anyone here know about any more competitive SHMUPS for the PC?

I've been told to play by two friends of mine, who are quite good at it. I love SHMUPS, but never got around to taking their advice.
