What the heck is this. Almost every time I try to load a page on this forum.
-
It's also inordinately slow today.
-
It sounds like a lot of load for some reason, most likely unrelated to traffic. There was an email blockage that was clearing itself out for a while there, from cPanel in particlar (forums were fine). Is it better now?

Nope. Tried replying to this message four times. Timeout everytime.
Edit: Success! (after three attempts at editing)

In case this is some sort of geo issue, where in general in the world are you located? Europe? The servers are in the US, and I'm not sure if that's making any difference in the very short term for some reason.
-
Sweden, here.
-
I was thinking so, from past recollections. It shouldn't make any difference, but since there is some difference that is one of the first things I tend to look to.

It's theoretically possible though. I'm having huge internet issues today. Some pages just won't load, and EVE has disconnected me several times.
-
Huh. Now THAT is surprising.
What is interesting is that Cloudflare is a more global service, and I'm not sure which of their servers you are hitting. If you're hitting a European-based server of theirs that is trying to connect across the pond and timing out because there is some sort of trans-Atlantic issue, then that would make sense with this behavior.
Typically a 522 is because the host server (ours) is being too slow, but right now it's extremely snappy. Maybe this is some sort of international routing thing.
-
Could be. I also got 524 as an error on occasion. But I've switched my DNS server now, and so far it seems stable. It may just have been an ISP issue.
-
Seems to be working now.

Maybe it was multiple things at once. Those are always the most "fun" ones to debug, goodness. Glad it's doing well now, at least!
