So I keep ending up here on occasion when I type arcengames.com. Why is that? Is it something that's supposed to happen?

Definitely not. When was the last time this happened? You should be actively redirected away from dev.arcengames.com, rather than to it, so I'll have to check the configuration here.

It's probably not so much a case of being redirected there as "not being redirected away". I have pretty restrictive browser setting (block EVERYTHING. Images, cookies, javascript etc etc) and only selectively allowed per sites I frequent. Could that be causing intermittent redirection issues?
It doesn't happen that often. Perhaps once a day or so. (And I visit Arcen 10-15 times a day at least)

Nope, the redirection should be happening before you even recieve a response. We try to avoid redirecting people client-side because that is fairly easy to ignore and people with certain settings simply don't comply. :)

I didn't see anything in the logs or configuration files that would directly cause this, but I did find a rather nice solution. Let me if you still get sent there! Thanks for reporting this!

Seems to have worked fine. Even if I actively type dev.arcengames.com I still get redirected as intended now. Thumbs up!
