Game balance

With the adventure mode now completed, I'd really love feedback on game balance. I'm interested in any comments about where the difficulty gets out of whack or if any levels just plain suck or anything like that. If anyone runs into anything they don't like, please post! :)

Will do!  Sounds like overall people are loving it and really impressed, though.  I haven't played as much as I would have liked, but I really liked what I've seen.  Really, really impressive work.  I had not imagined anything so finely crafted when we were first talking about having an adventure, but now I can't imagine the game without it. :)

Yea, I've had various friends and family playing it and the feedback is unanimously very positive, like from my sister-in-law:

I hope to have some time to actually play soon, but I'm on the road soon so it probably won't generate feedback in time for release.

Wait, it's not too hard for everyone? ;D

Awesome. My puzzle friends are better than average, I think, so feedback I get on difficulty probably skews things a bit. :P Some of those last levels get pretty tough! That said, I did hear 'This is too hard' a lot from them... Heh heh.

Yea, I think the skip feature goes a long way to making the difficulty a feature rather than a sledgehammer :)

Yeah, I agree.  And I also really emphasized the handicaps in the game documentation, for those who just find it too fast or whatever.  I think the difficulty will definitely be overall seen as a feature and not an issue (knocks on wood).
