Shaking screen on win
« on: July 23, 2010, 11:04:19 am »
Is there any way to disable the shaking screen when completing a puzzle? It's not very subtle and I find it jarring on my eyes.

When I look in options, the closest related thing I can see is "reduce visual stimulation" but I can't tell from this description exactly what that option does.

Yea, there's not a realistic way for that option to describe everything it does, since that list tends to grow when new animations and other effects are added.  Basically it removes a ton of the cool animation and whatnot (so it doesn't look NEARLY as good) but stuff like the shaking goes away.  Combined with the static themes option you can get a pretty low-stimulation experience, if you're the sort of person who needs that.  Bear in mind that I may have missed some effect for whatever reason, so definitely don't rely on it being really low-stim if you need it for some medical reason, we really can't make any kind of guarantee at all on that category of need.  Not that you said anything about that, just covering the hindquarters ;)
