Game impossible to end

I put the Burlusts in the federation due to desolate economy as the first race, i researched everything with them and they killed everyone else. Now there's 7 dead races, 1 race in the federation and no credits/game ending.

I reloaded to when they joined and repeated the process, the same thing happens.

I don't know if you're supposed to be able to create a 'federation' with only one race in it. I think that's a bug. 

Also, I think you technically lost. One race in the federation wouldn't really be what the hydral was trying to accomplish.

Actually, there is achievement for beating game with only one race left in federation for all races <_<

I checked game files and there is even special text (there are five variations on ending text, one race left, two races left, half races left, most of races left and all races in federation) which basically states "Well, its only technically unified since everyone else died, so thats kind of Pyrrhic victory" for that.

Are you sure they are still in the Federation? There needed to be at least 2 races in the Fed at some point, and if the Burlusts killed them too, they may have left the Federation before that.

...That does raise a question, if Federation dissolves if there is only one race left, how can you get "Win game with only one race alive" achievements if game ends only when federation is left...

The Federation does not dissolve if only one race is left like the other alliances do. What I meant was that I think race's can leave the federation if they dislike you or the other federation races enough.

Added a new race action: Grumble About Hydral.
Only happens to fed races that hate you, and makes them feel betrayed. If this goes on for too long, then they will leave the federation!
This is something that really changes the dynamic of the late game, because you can no longer just ignore your influence with races who are in the federation.

Get two races in the federation, then get a third race to kill one of the first two.

Well, yeah, thats what The Betrayed are for, but does it dissolve the Federation?

I'm pretty sure it does not dissolve the federation. But the Burlusts could have been the betrayed, and then the other race in the federation got destroyed.
