Hey thanks for putting that in mantis I saw that before reading this post and was like wow.

Re: diseases.  The thing is I do have a science station its buy the acutians I think.  I took the very first one built and was curing diseases.  I'm almost positive I cured the black bubbles and the teethworms.  I'm not so sure on that one. Luckily I do have it all recorded if needed.

Like nothing you've ever seen before huh? What made me the lucky one lol.  Maybe my game is more of an outlier than I'm assuming it to be.  Keep in mind it is 'hard' campaign difficulty.

Yes, that was exactly what I was saying about the environmental events its almost as if you get one and its a free fall to extinction.... The graphs make it obvious.  You simply can't keep up even if it was the only thing you were doing.

The others say there's some imbalances with the other campaign difficulties - I've only tested normal in alpha, and played through on normal. ^^ I play TLF to relax at the moment.

My guess is that after a certain threshold negative RCI makes other bad events more likely to happen, and the situation becomes unfixable. So once Chris/Keith redo the RCI spread it should be somewhat controllable.

Ah, you do have an andor science outpost - which I thought was manufacturing, and some time ago your science outpost got destroyed. One of my gripes is that the Burlusts *do* have a relapsing Teethworm infection which you can't treat. Although I suppose you can try to give them the vaccine as a free tech.

...which begs the question, how did you get the treatment in the first place? I've tracked the appearance of these events (in your game and my past games) and whenever I go to the planet afterwards the option remains red.

I think you just have a science outpost and go to a planet that currently has the disease.

That's the way it's meant to work, although everytime I see things like teethworms, the disease comes and goes in an instant leaving no time to cure it.
