Put I must wait till the bugs are ironed out. I want to help out best I can!

No problem!  And waiting a few weeks re: bugs is probably a good idea if that will put you off.  There's a lot of stuff getting parsed through already, and I don't think it will be an incredibly long list in the end (in terms of time taken, anyway), but it's definitely an early beta in the sense of the testing being a bit raw, heh.

Are the Betrayed Hope beta updates being pushed through Steam exclusively, or will I still get the beta updates if I buy DRM free from the Arcen Store and use the Arcen updater?

We always ALWAYS support both whenever we are selling both.  We'd never leave one group out to dry!

In the past we did do some steam-only betas just because we did not yet have a linux updater, but we solved that earlier this year and so I doubt we'll ever do that again.
