Favorite Race Music

Just a little poll, I have not seen any so far (I apologize if somebody already made one).
My personal favorite is the Acutians.

Acutians by far. The others, are nice too, with the andors coming to mind. They all fit the atmosphere SUPERBLY, but there's just nothing as funky and fun as the acutians techno chiptune-esque perfectly blended with great piano segments with the baseline in the back of it all. Pablo Vega did an amazing job on that track, and if there's one song I'll remember this game by, it's that. Reminiscent of the hyperspace music from Star Control 2.

I love the Acutians theme, but let me offer what I consider a sleeper pick in the Peltians theme -- specifically I feel the second half of the song (after the shift 1:33 in) is arguably the best part of the entire sountrack. The track wasn't even in my top five the first listen through, but man it has grown on me over time. Reminiscent of certain Radiohead tracks in that way (in that the best part of the song isn't given to you right away, you have to sit and wait for it -- earn it even).

The Skylaxian, Andor, Burlust and Evuck themes (or at least portions of) also have special places in my heart -- but my vote goes to Peltians for that build with the guitar.

Edit: I take the sleeper line back, Peltians are currently in second place in the early going.

I have decided that it counts as music from a specific race, so it counts.  That race being whoever I happen to be shooting at that time.

Acutian theme is my favorite, followed by Evuck and Burlust themes.

Although it's not on the poll, I also quite like the theme on the destroyed Hydral planet and on your outposts!
I'd call that the Hydral theme! ... um, I mean. There's still one alive...
Or maybe the Main theme would be the Hydral theme?! I'm confused.

I like them all, though, and would be hard pressed to say which one I like the least!
They are all so good and fitting!

And of course my favorite music overall is the vocal ending track.

Can't decide! I like all of them, as races specified i like Black Market (Hydral) one, but according to poll I'll go for Skylaxians, Andors come close, then Boarines.

I'd say the Black Market theme is my favorite, even though it isn't list here

Those are the songs I've set aside in my favorites list, and the order I like them.

As an aside, I just listened to the full Peltian theme after hearing the recommendations in this thread, and it might be being added to my favorites soon too.

Acutians are the only race that knows how to play a bass like a driver rather than keeping pace. Incidentally, this makes me think that they have dedicated music bots.
Boarines make good until the switch to guitar, the two halves don't match up in my opinion.
Thoraxians sound like what I might actually play on an odd mood.
One could photoshop the Skylaxian senate into a team of chill DJs at work. Okay, I'll pick this one. (EDIT: I'm particularly resistant against diehard capitalists.)
