Still a bit of a noob when it comes to your games but i've pretty much
bought almost every single one that you guys have made :D i LOVE
Ai War so i'm dying to see how this game turns out....
please let me be a tester too! *makes puppy dog eyes*

My preference would be
stage 2
stage 3
stage 1
stage 0
but to be honest i'd love to be in all 4 if possible :D

Out of curiosity, where are folks hearing about this game who are signing up now? I don't recognize many of you.

I've been mostly lurking on the forums for 1.5-2 years now. didn't really register on the forum
till i wanted my steam key for Ancient Shadows..... There's bound to be a lot of other lurkers like me
as well. Just because we don't post that much on the forums does not mean we cant be passionate
about anything Arcen makes. :) (I do intend to post about any bugs i find and general feedback about
the last federation though...)

There was no insinuation. It doesn't affect me either way.

I am a noob on the forums. Like (and learning) AI war - going to try and suck my 12 year old son into it so we can have some co-op goodness. He and I have had some epic supreme commander games in the past...

In any case would love to help test. I will save my background for the other forum areas, but I am a dev (Linux) and game on Windows when it requires me to. I will help in any phase deemed appropriate.

I flew the Arcen Nest for a bit to indulge in EU4, Project Zomboid and DayZ, but if you still want testers (dunno if I asked before by PM, probably not), i'd go with in order of preference:

Round 1
Round 2
Round 3
Round 0

Reply to me soon and i'll throw in a Bionic Dues purchase and Skyward Collapse: Nihon no Mura, to once again complete my Arcen Games Collection...and Vengeance of the Machine since I seem to have misplaced my code I bought when it was in Beta. >_>

P.S: I may say Round 0 is my least requested, but it's my Birthday on the 27th...just saying...

I would be pretty keen to test your game.

I am available for every testing round (not angry if it is later).
I'm pretty experienced at playing games, but still suck at a lot of them XD
(I would say I am average in most games)

We also seemed to get a big influx of folks after spacesimcentral posted about the game, which is one area I suspect.

I am also super interested in helping test this game, I love AI wars and cant wait to see what you do with the psuedo-4x style this game has.

I don't and won't have much free time so I would mostly like to be in the later rounds of testing (2-3) if you need me. I also intend to purchase the game at least once, I really support your development philosophy and don't like the thought of taking food out of the mouths of my favorite developers.

Thanks for all the hard work, and I look forward to spending many, many, hours enjoying this game one way or another.

Interesting, the main motivation behind this question was to see what marketing is doing right to get people interested.

I a couple of months ago I got a lot of Arcen games from various bundles, and I really enjoyed them. I went to your website to see if you had made other games, and found out that you were making The Last Federation. I occasionally checked the progress of it and one of those times I found this thread.

I personally bought AI War a long time ago, and when I heard about TLF (from the Bay12 forums), I was super-excited. So that's why I, personally, am here.

Week 1 or 2 would be fantastic! Been an Arcen fan for a few years, but never done any Alpha testing. Loving the look and politics of TLF, and I think it'll be a great game to see develop.

Ha, what can I say? I've just liked some of your output quite a bit these days (I'm a particular fan of Bionic Dues, even if I'm currently too much of a sissy to advance past "Normal" despite stomping it into the ground three times ;3), and I wouldn't mind trying to take a crack at helping out. If nothing else, I'm really digging the concepts you've got in mind for this game, it sounds almost like a version of Star Control 2 where every race is relevant throughout the entire game and interacts more.

I'm personally just hoping that the combat's simple enough for me to not get completely overwhelmed by like I felt in AI War (why do I feel iron pitchforks being raised at me?).

Hey folks,

Good idea on the organisation, I think this would save a lot of potential unhappiness in the future although I imagine some will always be disappointed.

I don't really mind where I get placed but bear in mind I am a casual player so will be quite sensitive to hard difficulties - see my rant from my first playthrough in the Bionic Dues alpha where I got absolutely squished. So if you need players of that 'calibre' in the early phases or late phases then go ahead. Happy to help whenever. :)
