Where are moons ? And Ice belts ?

I don't see them on the global map. Is there a filter or something ?

It's annoying to have to go to the right screen to find out if (and not how many) there are.

That's the asteroid and ice belts.

Now zoom in on a planet that has no ships orbiting it.

See those sparkly white things?

Those are moons.

Yeah, they're kind of hard to see when there's a fleet in orbit.

You can't really see the moons very well if you're zoomed all the way out.

Oh I actually never knew the moons were visually represented in the game!  Thanks, somehow I missed this as well.

Yes... I always play completely zoomed out, that's why I missed it.

I rarely zoom since I found nothing to see.
