(Humor) So how does our Hydral... well... um...
« on: February 13, 2014, 01:44:05 am »
So apparently the Hydral can give speeches to the senate or whatever the governing body of whatever race is. How do you think that works, with being a big four headed dragon thing and all?
Does he hunch over to talk into the mic, or does he just talk out of all four heads and not even need the mic?

Come to think of it, maybe that's why you never get boarded in this game. Whatever boarding team they try to send realizes "Heck, the enemy ship is captained by a big four headed dragon..." and they just quit on the spot!

How do you think the Hydral flies the ship?  :P

Wait, these guys were four-headed??? I thought that the intro graphic of the Hydral was of 4 separate Hydrals!

Very carefully.

My thoughts were that he has to bash his various faces against various buttons to do things, probably smacking half of the switches on the console in the process, in hilarious fashion.

Or does it via voice command, which gets funnier if the heads start arguing.   Or maybe via psychic commands, which gets funnier if one of the heads isnt paying attention and is thinking about cheeseburgers or something, and maybe another is just spaced out entirely.

And landing the ship somewhere must be quite the sight.

He probably has like 16 arms down there under the water, you never know.  And when it comes to giving speeches or whatnot... I imagine he doesn't need amplification? ;)

Plus, he or she can manage their own sign language interpretation in multiple languages.

If you cut off a Hydral's head, how many does it grow back?

Plot twist:
Hydrals reproduce asexually by budding! The Last Hydral is actually founding the Federation as a means to establish an environment that will stay conflict-free until he/she can replenish the Hydral numbers enough attempt to take over again!
