Evuck planet explosion

So I'm curious about the Evucks and their tendency of blowing themselves up. Because I've never seen it before, so clearly this is a thing to aspire to. Is there anything they need to actually do this? I had a game where they were on a hypotonic gas giant and the Burlusts wiped them out without any booms.

My current new game has them on a gauss gas giant, so I'm hoping for some pretty explosions. Just wondering if there's anything I can do to ensure this happens without them being wiped out before they can go boom.

EDIT: The Thoraxians wiped them out too :/ What do I have to do to make them blow up their planet?

Okay, so here's the skinny. :)

1. The Evucks have to be on a gas giant, as you know.

2. At least 4 hours of "game time" have to have passed.  That's not how long you have to play, because that includes the sped-up time from fast forwarding during dispatches, etc.  Generally speaking, I believe it's 9 years per hour of game time, so that's 36 years in you have to get, roughly.  If you hit escape, you can see the game time in the menu there, as well as the actual literal real time played.

3. The Evucks have to only have one planet remaining in their possession.

4. The Evucks have to be under attack from a "far superior foe."  This requires that:
a. Some other race is attacking the Evucks.
b. The Evucks have fewer than 5 armadas, while the other side has more than 40.
c. The total armada power of the Evucks is less than 20x their power.

The logic on #4 might need some tweaking, now that I look at it.

Oh wow that's a lot. So I need to call off the war on them, let people build up power while I take out all their ships, then sic someone on them. :|a

It does seem that the logic should be tweaked a little XD Maybe be race specific? Since the Thoraxians and Burlust might not always be superior, armada wise, but as soon as they land troops it's usually all over.

Hm, a quick question then, sorry XD With the armada limits - is there a limit on amount per race, or is it just race + how many planets they have? Having issues getting people up to 40 ships, sob. The highest I have is like...32 with Skylaxians on one planet?

Has #4 been revisted?

I don't see anything in the change log, and that also means that it unlikely (Maybe even impossible) to trigger in betrayal mode even if every single hydra fleet (All 15 of them, +1 ship that is likely as strong as them put together) at max power is in orbit above the Evucks Gas giant.

I tried to force the Evuck to explode their last planet, but they are not interested in doing so.

The current situation:

Andor, Acutian, Burlust, Evuck alive. Evuck Homeworld is destroyed but they are sitting on a Gauss Gas Giant. They have 0 fleet and are under attack by Burlust and Acutian and to my surprise even the Andor started an attack of opportunity (never saw that before). So 50+ burlust and 30+ acutian and andor armadas are attacking them. They have 0 armada, their economy and public order is deep in minus but i kept their medical and environment up so they can hold off ground attack. Playtime about 150 years, tech is quite ahead, Andor and Acutian have godmode research.

So to check the list:
1 and 3 ... check
2 ... check
4a) clearly under attack but from 3, is that a problem?
4b) no armadas is < 5
4c) enemies have combined about > 100000, they nothing

So what am i missing?
