Hi

Having gamed for the better part of 30 years, it is clear I have become too rigid to be able to conceptually understand cool different, high concept games like TLF!

I would therefore be very grateful to any of the good folk of this board for an AAR or two; this should help me (and people like me) to picture the game and suss out how to play it.  (By the way, AARs or After Action Reports are pseudo-narrative retellings of a campaign... 8) )

Also, from what I have seen/heard on YouTube, this game seems packed full of cool stories and therefore sounds like a perfect candidate for AARs.

Thanks!

Not sure there are any great ones up yet, seeing as the game is so new, but a few are getting started!

Just as a side note, I want to do a video series of that sort on my own.  You can see me get schooled by the AI a bit in a video I did last week, although it's a bit out of date what with the refinements since then.  I really want to do an ongoing series as I have time, though.
Have ideas or bug reports for one of our games?  Mantis for Suggestions and Bug Reports. Thanks for helping to make our games better!

<-- Idiot!

Completely did not see that board!  AND I checked the stickies.  It's that big one in the child board section at the top isn't it.  D'ah!

Thanks!

I would love to see a video series of that ilk.  One guaranteed fascinated viewer here! :)

I saw this, I found the combat bits very, very entertaining :D

I'd love to do this sorta thing myself as well, but I'm so spacey/airheaded much of the time that I tend to forget that I'm doing a series of some sort.  Thus my BD let's play that really, really needs updating.

At the very least though I'd like to do a couple just showing off the Misery difficulty.... which I"m guessing most (all?) players havent seen, as well as some of the solar map stuffs that I find particularly interesting.

I think the comedy in mine would come from the solar map stuff, heh.  THe combat, I've mastered.  The strategy bit... I love strategy games, but let's just say I get a tad lost.  It ends up being Boatmurdered in space, except without all of the elephants.
